  1. In the source it shows hitler raising the nazi flag and lots of people behind him doing the same, following him showing his control of them. Also i know that hitler was a very good speaker and lots of people followed him because of things he said, hitler was feared in germany by the people so people would want to follow him and support him because they were scared of him.

  2. Leona,

In this source you can see Adolf Hitler at the forefront of hundreds of Aryan Nazis at what looks like one of his rallies. This is clearly supporting the Nazis and is probably one of their many propaganda posters created by Joseph Goebbels. The Nazis held many rallies at which Hitler made many crowd pleasing speeches and the shouts of support from thousands of Germans. However, this isn't the only way in whcih Hitler garnered support. He aslo used the radio, a new invention, to speak to people directly in their homes and broadcast his views across the entire country. He also censorship to keep all of the torture of prisoners etc. out of the press or at least try and twist the truth so that it seemed like he was doing a good thing until all of the German people were brainwashed into believing what he fed them.

(I'm guessing this is a six or seven mark question?)

In this poster you see Hitler raising a flag in front of many Nazi's. As Hitler is higher than everyone else in this picture and in front of everyone it is obvious that he is the leader of the Nazi's behind him.
Hitler used his speeches to grab the Germans attention and did the same to control the Nazi's in to doing what he wanted and to make it seem as what he wanted was the best thing for the country.
The quote 'Long Live Germany' was most likely said at the end of one of his many speeches as the leader of the Nazi's.
The picture also gives the impression that he is leading the Nazi's to war as it looks like they are marching.
